Leah + Chris :: The Party
May 11, 2013
Here is the rest of the reception…such a fun party-as expected when The Source is your band.
The Crown Uptown is SUCH a great venue…that curtain of twinkle lights looked amazing:
Special Bridesmaids song…Wilson Phillips, Hold On.

This reception was so much fun to go through because there were so many funny things happening on the dance floor constantly
The Source Band sings a great 90′s rap mix. I distinctly remember the lyrics “I’m gonna knock you out…momma says knock you out” when this happened:
This was right before we left. It appears they are ready to call it a night but I believe they ended up having a few more hours in them:
Thanks guys! This was really such a memorable wedding…I think my cheeks hurt from laughing all night!
Leah + Chris: Married.
April 24, 2013
Chipping away at the unblogged images from last year. Here is a wedding that we had a blast at. One of the craziest in such a good way. So much fun, I am chopping it up into to two posts. I present Leah and Chris. The Wedding:
One of my favorite things after a wedding is looking through Patrick’s images and finding things like this:
Leah had a first look moment with her dad and then he walked her to see Chris for the first time. This was such a good idea. I love first looks with dads!
I think Chuck’s “popped” knee really adds a lot to the image below. We love you, Chuck.
This was our first reception at the Crown Uptown…such a good venue decision. Different than most and really lends itself to a great party.
Check back soon for the second half! The Party.

First Day of Pre-School
August 23, 2012
I love seeing her in the same uniform that I wore to school. She insisted on wearing the most obnoxious headband and shoes that are two sizes too big. I love how excited she was for her first day, new friends and her big yellow backpack. Sylv is just excited about having the house to herself for the afternoon!
Ivey and Brian : Wichita Wedding
May 10, 2012
Ivey’s family has been a part of Patrick’s life way longer than I have. When Patrick was younger his family lived in one side of a duplex and Ivey’s family lived in the other…they have great stories from those days…putting up with Patrick and his trumpet practicing.
Ivey and Brian had a beautiful evening wedding and reception at the Scottish Rite a few months back. It was actually a renewal of their vows with all of their friends and family since they were married before Brian’s deployment. We were so happy to be a part of such a wonderful day. Ivey and Brian, we wish you all the best!
Julie and Tray : Engagement
March 8, 2012
Please ignore the fact that the last post says “Merry Christmas”. Really? I am soooo far behind in blogging shoots but hopefully I can make a dent in the un-posted picture folders soon. Here is a little peek at an engagement shoot with Julie and Tray.

Merry Christmas!
December 22, 2011
I love the Christmas season. I remember how wonderful it was when I was little, but it is even better being an adult and seeing how magical it is for our girls. Here are some pictures from our tree lighting a few weeks ago. I was so happy to find out that their striped night gowns still fit from last year! Well, sort of. Lael’s is more of a shirt now.
Hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday season!
